0013: Quantum Suckage Part 1

Unlucky 13 is the first full fledged Quantum & Woody Review show, Quantum Suckage. I do a little news first and I get into reviewing Quantum and Woody #2.

Play/Download

Quantum & Woody, an Acclaim Comic of the late 1990s is one of the most infantile, dated, unfunny and, worst of all (and the reason for this show), one of the most overrated comic books of the Dark Age of comics. Think All In The Family, The Chappelle Show or Paul Mooney sans funny jokes, a good story or a message. In other words, take controversial and potentially incendiary comedy and remove the genuis creator from behind the scenes. There you have Quantum and Woody.

  3. Thanks for the shout out.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on Ennis' Hitman or the 2008 Unknown Soldier series.

Hitman because I'm curious what yourself and your co-host would think of the character Nat, based on the last review of The Boys.

The Unknown Soldier series I think could fit well into the Comics with Issues segment. It's a pretty dense series filled with lots of research on the issues at least and I can appreciate that.
